Life
You wait with anticipation.
Actors emote -
and yet, in the cinema,
Popcorn spattered,
You sit there
Remote
Not adrift in the fantasy world
But aware
of the booming soundtrack
Your vision restricted
and you turn round and glare
at the owner
of the knee
In your seat's back
