At the slightest glimmer of sun
The sandal appears, unbidden
People wander around in shorts
Revealing things that ought to stay hidden
Visions of yellow-tinged toenails
Or the elegant sock/sandal combination
Make me long for the return of wet autumn
And the wellington boot domination
